Welcome back to our weekly Steelhead Fishing Report for the upcoming 2010-2011 Steelhead Fishing Season.
Current water level is 3950 CFS, water temperature is 60 degrees; the river is crystal clear. The Riggins weather forecast for this week is rain on for 10/4 with a daytime high of 65 degrees. Warmer dry weather conditions are predicted for the remainder of the week with daytime highs in the mid to upper 70’s and evenings or early mornings in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.
We started our Steelhead fishing trips at the end of last week and a total of 6 people fished for these tackle bending monsters with Exodus Wilderness Adventures guides. They hooked into 17 fish and landed 11; these fish are spicy fall fish that are spooling reels, performing tail stands and jumping out of the water when hooked - loads of excitement! The biggest fish caught went to Jim Kelly’s fishing party who landed a monster 36” wild Steelhead on October 1st with drift boat fishing guide Mike Hicks.
Exodus Wilderness Adventures offers guided Steelhead Fishing, by drift boat or jet boat, based on your party size and preference. As always, an experienced guide, lunch, snacks, hot/cold beverages and all fishing equipment are included.
- Drift boat rate is $205.00/person.
- Jet boat rate is $1175.00/boat.
